Assistant Professional

Uttoxeter Golf Club is seeking a qualified PGA Professional to join our team and work alongside our established Head Professional, who has proudly served the club for over 30 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed PGA Professional to become part of a friendly club environment, with a varied role covering coaching, golf shop operations and light administration.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the Head Professional in the day-to-day running of the professional operation, with responsibilities including:

• Delivering golf coaching to members and visitors
• Supporting the operation of the golf shop and assisting customers
• Providing excellent customer service and product advice
• Assisting with stock and shop administration
• Carrying out general administrative duties

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• A qualified PGA Professional
• Friendly, approachable and confident with members and customers
• Passionate about golf and coaching
• Professional, organised and reliable
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Keen to develop their career within a welcoming golf club environment

Hours: 40 hours per week
