The Worcestershire Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated PGA Trainee / Assistant Professional to join our professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within the golf industry, gaining valuable experience across  retail, individual coaching, junior coaching, ladies’ coaching and member engagement.

The Worcestershire is a well-established members’ golf club with a strong and loyal membership base and a full membership, providing an excellent environment for a PGA Trainee to develop both professionally and personally.

The Role

The role will offer a varied working week, including:

• 25-30 hours per week working in the Professional Shop
• Immediate coaching opportunities with lessons in place from the start
• Group and individual coaching opportunities
• The opportunity to build and develop your own individual lesson client base
• Involvement in junior and beginner golf programmes
• Opportunities to support and develop the ladies pathway coaching program
• Supporting golf events, competitions and club activities
• Assisting with customer service, custom fitting and retail sales
• Opportunities to develop knowledge and experience across all areas of the Professional Shop

We are looking for someone who is:

• Is a PGA Professional, Assistant Professional or trainee applicant.
• Has a genuine passion for coaching and helping golfers improve.
• Enjoys working within a private members’ club environment.
• Is enthusiastic, personable, and committed to delivering first-class member experiences.
