An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Professional Team at Tandragee Golf Club as an Assistant PGA Professional.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and motivated individual who wants to develop their career within the golf industry while playing an important role in the continued growth of our Professional Shop and golf operation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Professional across all areas of the golf business, gaining hands-on experience in a busy and progressive club environment.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

Delivering a high standard of customer service to members, visitors and societies
Day-to-day operation of the Professional Shop
Retail sales, merchandising and stock management
Assisting with club competitions, green fees, buggy hire and visitor services
Supporting club fitting and equipment sales
Golf coaching, subject to experience and PGA status
Supporting junior golf programmes and club events
Club repairs and general golf services
Helping to develop and promote the Professional Shop and its services
Representing Tandragee Golf Club and the Pro Shop Team to a high standard

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, professional and confident dealing with people
Reliable and able to take responsibility
Passionate about golf and the golf industry
Commercially minded with an interest in retail, coaching and equipment
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Willing to work weekends and during key periods of the golfing season
Keen to learn, develop and contribute ideas

Applications are welcomed from PGA Trainees or individuals looking to begin their PGA career.

Previous experience within a golf club, professional shop, retail or customer-facing environment would be advantageous.
