Greg Rogula is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated 1st Year PGA Trainee Assistant Professional to join his professional team, based at Leek Golf Club.

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring PGA Professional to begin their career within an established professional shop and gain valuable experience across all aspects of the golf business while working towards their PGA qualification.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside Greg and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and experience in:

Professional shop operations and customer service.
Golf retail and merchandising.
Golf equipment and club fitting.
Coaching and supporting lessons.
Junior and beginner golf programmes.
Competitions, societies and golf events.
General administration and member enquiries.
Building positive relationships with members, visitors and customers.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about golf and keen to build a long-term career within the PGA.

The ideal candidate will be:

Enthusiastic and committed to developing as a PGA Professional.
Friendly, approachable and confident with customers.
Hard-working, reliable and willing to learn.
Professional in appearance and attitude.
A good communicator with excellent customer-service skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Keen to develop their coaching, retail and business skills.
Previous experience within a golf club or professional shop would be advantageous but is not essential. Enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine passion for golf are the most important qualities.

The Opportunity

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a busy professional shop while developing the skills required for a successful career in the golf industry.

You will work closely with Greg Rogula and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of running a modern golf professional operation, alongside progressing through the PGA qualification.
