BayHouse Golf & Social is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PGA Professional to join our management team as Site Manager.

This is a unique role combining golf, hospitality and venue management, with the opportunity to earn additional income through golf lessons and coaching on top of the £40,000 basic salary.

We’re looking for someone who can deliver an exceptional golf experience while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy hospitality venue.

The Role
Working as part of the BayHouse management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the venue operates to a consistently high standard across our golf, bar, food and customer experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operation of the venue
Delivering an outstanding customer and member experience
Overseeing our Full Swing golf simulator operation
Hosting and managing leagues, competitions, member events and golf experiences
Delivering golf lessons, clinics and coaching programmes
Developing your own coaching activity at BayHouse, providing the opportunity to earn additional income on top of your salary
Supporting custom fitting and golf retail
Managing and motivating the front-of-house and golf team
Ensuring excellent standards across the bar, hospitality and golf areas
Managing bookings, events and customer enquiries
Driving simulator occupancy, repeat visits and membership engagement
Developing relationships with local golf clubs, schools, businesses and the wider golf community
Supporting corporate events, society days and private hire
Ensuring opening, closing, health & safety and operational procedures are followed
Working closely with the Directors to continue developing the BayHouse offering

We’re looking for someone who is:

PGA qualified
Experienced within golf operations, hospitality or venue management
Confident managing and leading a team
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Commercially minded and comfortable driving revenue
Organised, proactive and able to take ownership of the venue
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Confident hosting events, competitions and member activities
Enthusiastic about growing participation in golf and creating a strong community
Experience with golf simulators, coaching, custom fitting, bar operations or hospitality management would be a strong advantage.
