Women’s & Girls Coach and Participation Lead

We are looking for a PGA Coach to lead our Women’s & Girls Development Program.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead the growth of women’s and girls’ golf here at Pyle & Kenfig.

This is a flexible role—perfect for someone who is:

Self-employed
Coaching or working in golf
Looking for a mix of coaching, golf development and day to day golf operations.

About the Role

Working alongside current coaching team at P&K, you’ll play a key role in:

Growing participation and increasing the number of women and girls using P&K Facilities.
Hosting experience days and promoting our Trackman Driving Range to members and lesson clients.
Supporting conversion from New2Golf, Girls Golf Cymru programmes into membership
Improving retention, frequency of visits and experience of female members
Contributing to a more balanced and inclusive membership profile by supporting new and existing female members
Creating a welcoming, inclusive club environment

Flexible & Seasonal Working

Approx. 18–30 hours per week across the year – (plus own coaching time)
Busier during the main golf season (spring/summer)
Shift system covering 7am-8pm in line with our opening hours.
A mixture of Shop Retail Hours/Private Coaching & Golf Development
This is a self-employed / contract role, with flexibility in how shifts are delivered.

The right candidate is:

Passionate about growing the women’s and girls’ game
Friendly, approachable, and proactive
Able to work independently and as part of the team
A PGA Qualified Coach with (preferably) at least Level 2 Trackman University Accreditation
Interested in developing their career at a Championship Links

Day to day you’ll be doing:

Delivering beginner programmes such as Give Golf a Go and New2Golf Golf Girls
Hosting experience and promotional days on our Trackman Driving Range
Running fun, relaxed coaching sessions and social golf opportunities
Supporting junior development and progression
Helping new members feel welcome and confident to visit the club more frequently
Providing advice on equipment and club fitting along with female participation and membership trends
