As the Club continues to develop its golf offering and member services, we are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant PGA Professional to join the team and contribute to the ongoing success of the golf operation.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to support the Head Professional in delivering an exceptional golf experience for members and guests.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PGA Professional looking to develop their career within a thriving members’ club, gaining exposure to coaching, golf operations, retail management, and member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the professional shop, including sales, merchandising, and stock control.
  • Support tee sheet management, competitions, and golf events.
  • Deliver individual and group coaching sessions, including junior, ladies and beginner programmes.
  • Support custom fitting services and club repairs.
  • Maintain high standards of member service and engagement.
  • Assist in retail operations, EPOS usage, and stock management.
  • Support the organisation of demo days, coaching clinics, and club initiatives.
  • Ensure the professional shop and surrounding areas are presented to the highest standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Professional and wider club team to enhance the overall golf experience.

Candidate Profile

  • PGA Qualified or working towards PGA qualification.
  • Passionate about coaching and player development.
  • Strong interest in retail and golf operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and service-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of the Rules of Golf and competition play.
  • Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable using golf management and retail systems.
