Cheadle Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated fully qualified PGA Professional to join the club on a self-employed basis, with an excellent opportunity to establish and grow their own coaching business.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work from Cheadle Golf Club, with excellent coaching and practice facilities and the added benefit of taking over a number of existing, busy coaching programmes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a PGA Professional who is passionate about coaching and keen to develop a successful coaching business at Cheadle Golf Club.

The successful candidate will have the immediate opportunity to take over our established and popular junior coaching programme and beginner group classes, providing an existing coaching base from day one.

Alongside these established sessions, there is significant scope for the successful candidate to build their own private client base, offering individual and group coaching to members, visitors and new golfers.

As a self-employed PGA Professional at Cheadle Golf Club, you will have the opportunity to:

● Take over existing, busy junior and beginner group coaching programmes.

● Build and manage your own individual coaching client base.

● Set and manage your own private lesson schedule.

● Coach golfers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to experienced players.

● Develop new group coaching sessions, clinics and other coaching initiatives.

● Work within an established golf club environment with a strong membership and potential customer base.

● Grow your own coaching business while benefiting from access to excellent practice and teaching facilities.

How It Works

This is a self-employed opportunity rather than an employed position, giving the successful PGA Professional the freedom to develop and operate their own coaching business from Cheadle Golf Club.

The successful candidate will benefit from an existing base of group coaching, particularly within our junior and beginner programmes, while having the freedom and opportunity to grow their own private lesson diary and develop additional coaching programmes.

We are looking for someone who will become an active and valued part of Cheadle Golf Club, build strong relationships with members and help us continue to grow golf participation at the club.
