SwingZone PGA Coach – The 155th Open Championship, St Andrews, Scotland

The PGA is seeking to recruit fully qualified PGA Members with current coaching experience to deliver golf coaching at The 155th Open Championship at St Andrews, Scotland (11th–18th July 2027).

Role Overview

Selected PGA Members will deliver engaging, high-quality golf sessions to a wide range of participants. Coaches will be expected to adapt their delivery to suit individual needs, ensuring a player-centred approach. The aim is to inspire and motivate each golfer to continue their participation and progression in the game, while showcasing the expertise and professionalism of PGA Members.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to fully qualified PGA Members actively working within the golf industry. Retired PGA Members and PGA Trainees who have not yet qualified are not eligible to apply.

Safeguarding Requirements

As the role involves working with children and young people, successful applicants must: · Hold current SafeGolf accreditation (www.safegolf.org)

· Hold a valid criminal records check (DBS, Access NI, or Garda Vetting) issued within the last 3 years or hold a valid PVG Scheme Membership if based in Scotland

· Hold a valid Safeguarding certificate issued within the last 3 years
