Cold Ashby Golf Centre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PGA Professional or Assistant PGA Professional to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about player development, enjoys working within a friendly club environment, and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of our coaching programmes.
Hours & Salary
35–40 hours per week
Salary dependent on experience
Additional earning potential through coaching & custom fitting.
About Cold Ashby
We are a forward‑thinking, community‑focused golf centre with a clear vision for growth across all areas of the club. Our coaching facilities include:
A private coaching bay
8‑bay floodlit driving range
Two putting greens
Dedicated pitching and chipping area
A growing junior and ladies coaching structure
These facilities provide an ideal environment for a coach who wants to deliver high‑quality lessons and build a strong client base.
Role Responsibilities
Deliver individual and group coaching to players of all ages and abilities
Lead and grow our Junior Academy and Ladies Coaching Programme, both of which are central to our long‑term membership development strategy
Support the day‑to‑day running of the golf centre, including retail, member engagement, and operational duties in the pro shop.
Assist with custom fitting, club repairs, and general professional services
Represent the club professionally at all times and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
Junior & Ladies Development Focus
A key part of this role is helping us expand our junior and ladies participation. These programmes are fundamental to the club’s future, providing a pathway from beginner to course‑ready golfer and ultimately into membership. We are looking for someone who is energetic, encouraging, and able to create a fun, structured learning environment that inspires new golfers to stay in the game.
What We’re Looking For
PGA Qualified or currently training
Confident, friendly, and professional communication skills
Passion for coaching and player development
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
Someone who wants to grow with the club and contribute to long‑term development
