Role Overview

Tommy Fleetwood Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Academy Operations & Coaching Professional to support the continued growth and success of our academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates. This is a varied role, focused primarily on golf operations whilst providing help facilitating golf tuition, providing the opportunity to make a significant impact at the academy as well as within Viya golf.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for members and students while helping drive the academy forward with the aim of making it the best in the world.

Golf Operations Responsibilities

• Manage the academy reception and daily administrative duties.
• Coordinate and manage lesson bookings and scheduling.
• Process lesson payments and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the academy’s outdoor coaching and practice areas are consistently set up to a high standard.
• Prepare coaching stations and practice facilities for members.
• Assist with the organisation and delivery of junior tournaments, academy events and competitions.
• Support the day-to-day running of the academy, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
• Maintain excellent communication with members, students and coaching staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall academy experience.

Coaching Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging group coaching sessions for junior golfers.
• Coach school golf programmes in partnership with local schools.
• Lead ladies’ group coaching sessions.
• Provide a fun, inclusive and supportive learning environment for golfers of all abilities.
• Assist with academy coaching events, clinics and player development programmes.
• Promote participation and encourage long-term engagement with the academy.
• Professional Development

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a coach looking to develop their career. You will have the chance to understand how Elite Academy Operations are conducted whilst shadowing and learning from the academy’s senior coaches, gaining valuable experience across individual coaching, group programmes and player development.
