“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” With over 35 years of experience in the Professional Golf industry and a current GB&I PGA Professional Golf Coach, I chose 2025 to challenge myself in a completely NEW arena…I was proud, honoured, and very excited to share that in February 2025, I had started my financial services career journey with Ledingham Chalmers Financial Ltd. as a Trainee Financial Advisor. Having played golf since the age of three, turned Professional directly from school at 16 and over the past 35 years worked solely within the golf industry my professional development has always been focused around GOLF, performance coaching + club fitting. When TrackMan became prevalent in our industry I quickly realised that for a player to be able to maximise their ability their equipment had to deliver their intent. Poorly matched equipment would be akin to wearing the wrong size trainers and expecting it not to affect your running style/performance. As a coach, the kit must allow for the performance gain/delivery to be implemented. This is what I class as a NON-NEGOTIABLE…Having recently reassessed I realise that life without golf just isn’t life to me therefore I’ve called time on my Financial Services journey. Indebted to those who have seen my personal qualities beyond just golf. I’ve missed being able to offer my many years of experience in golf coaching to the many golfers throughout the region therefore I’m currently embarking on looking for a NEW Professional Golf opportunity.Everyone who knows me personally or has previously had my guidance in the past can vouch that I will leave no stone unturned in my quest to relay the necessary information by whatever medium my pupil best learns from to deliver their aspirations and goals.
