As Retail Manager, PGA Coach, and Head of Custom Fitting at Brocket Hall Golf Club, I am responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of the pro shop, including merchandising, stock control, supplier relationships, and delivering a premium customer experience. In 2025, the team and I achieved a 400% increase in retail sales through the implementation of a clear merchandising strategy, improved product selection, and a strong focus on customer engagement and service standards. This success was recognised with the 59club Retail Manager of the Year award. I deliver individual and group coaching sessions to golfers of all abilities, using modern coaching techniques to support player development and retention. In addition, I lead the custom fitting operation, conducting detailed, data-driven fittings to ensure members and guests are equipped with clubs tailored to maximise performance. I play a key role in driving revenue, enhancing the member experience, and contributing to the overall success of the golf operation.

Within my time at emirates golf club, I have assisted tour player fittings at the Dubai Desert classic whilst also overseeing the daily operations of the merchandise tent, conducted fitting for the Asian Pacific Amateur Championship players and ran a very successful retail fitting program for the golf clubs’ members and visitors.
This role also included daily running and stocking of the pro shop, whilst overseeing a team of 7 staff and achieving sales targets.
As a manager of a team of 7, its essential to set clear expectations and targets for each team member, while also fostering a positive, collaborative environment. Delegating tasks based on individual strengths ensures productivity and allows employees to feel valued. Equally important is maintaining the shops daily operations, including inventory management, customer service and organisation.

Key Skills – Running the coaching and custom fit services, offering tour level fitting using Trackman Technology. I am able to offer services such as swing weighting, hot melting, spine aligning and loft and lie adjustment. Using my previous experience and passion within the golf industry I have built up my own substantial client base and business within the region that have also followed me from previous placements. I also offer club repair and placements whilst stocking a small shop with clothing, clubs and accessories.
My passion is to provide the best possible experience for my clients and able to offer them a “one stop shop” for all their golfing needs. Always staying on top of technology to provide these services are essential so investing in my own Trackman, Capto and Science and Motion putting lab has helped me stay ahead.

Job role – Assistant PGA professional
Key skills – Assisting the head professional and directors of the business, I undertook the role of assistant PGA professional. Using my past experience, I have successfully built a substantial client base, building meaningful relationships with the members of the club. This in turn helped to build trust in the newly formed professional shop and help push sales of golf equipment and clothing. Within this I used my in-depth knowledge to provide an exceptional tour level custom fitting experience and club repairs. Offering services such as spin alignment, swing weighting, loft and lie adjustments all with the aid of trackman technology. Keeping up to date within the latest releases from clubs to shafts and fitting equipment I can offer the best experience to my clients.
Using trackman, I was able to introduce a new form of coaching to my clients and providing detailed feedback from each lesson with video analysis reports.
Sherdons Golf Centre

Job role – Trainee PGA Assistant & Retail Manager
Key skills –At Sherdons Golf Centre the majority of my time was spent coaching golf lessons to players of all levels throughout the week and weekends but also, I took on the vital role as the retail manager. This role includes liaising with reps about new products and ordering stock for the shop, organizing pre books for the year from multiple suppliers, organizing staff by delegating job roles to do on a weekly and day to day basis to the professional shop staff. I dedicated a lot of my time to offering a professional custom fitting experience with a wide variety of brands, as a result of this I’ve been recognized by TaylorMade as one of their “master fitters”. Alongside my fittings and with my years of learning and experience I offer professional club repairs and re-gripping giving a short turnaround time allowing the player to have their clubs back quickly with no hassle. I organized a junior section and team for the first time at Sherdons Golf Centre providing coaching not only about the swing but the etiquette of the game to the next generation of the golfing industry. For the juniors that weren’t able to commit to membership or the team practice, and with the help of my colleagues, we hosted junior days throughout the school holidays which offered children the opportunity to get into golf and most importantly showed the fun of golf. Organising weekly ladies coaching sessions I was able to quickly build up a significant section that also provided the club with an additional revenue stream.

Key skills – I was involved in advertisement and promotions though internet-based sites and social media. I have also been involved in golf shop sales, memberships and customer service. In addition, I regularly meet the club management to discuss how the business can move forward.

Key skills – As my first job, I was able to develop my communication and team work skills. This also enabled me to improve my confidence whist effectively dealing with customers and enquiries.

Key skills – During college and the first year of University I held a position at Sainsbury’s whilst moving away from home. I believe that this is an example of my hard-working and committed nature to manage both work and study. This role involved regular customer service and effective time management, whilst hitting strict targets.
