Director of Golf

Mottram Hall is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Golf to lead our golf operation, inspire our team, and deliver an exceptional experience for every member and guest. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded golf professional to take ownership of one of the region’s premier golf destinations and play a key role in its continued success.

As Director of Golf, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the golf business. You will lead, develop, and support the golf team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service while driving revenue growth, increasing participation, and maximising the commercial performance of the golf operation.

Working closely with the wider resort leadership team, you will be responsible for enhancing the overall guest journey, developing innovative golf programmes and events, and ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and operational excellence. You will also oversee the day-to-day management of the golf operation, including retail, tee sheet optimisation, memberships, competitions, coaching programmes, and golf-related events.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success within a busy resort or commercial golf facility, with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams. You will be customer-focused, commercially aware, and confident in identifying opportunities to grow revenue while maintaining an exceptional golfing experience.
