PGA Trainee Assistant

Looking for a new opportunity?  D&A Golf based at Kilkeel Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic, registered PGA Trainee to join the Professional team at our busy Pro Shop.  www.kilkeelgolfclub.com.

There will be excellent earning potential for the successful candidate, along with opportunities for coaching and playing.

The candidate needs to be self-motivated, reliable, keen to learn, with good IT and communication skills.  They must have a passion for golf and a strong desire to become a PGA Professional.

He/she will support the Club Professional in all aspects of the business, including retailing, coaching and golf operations.  The knowledge in creating Website and Social Media content is desirable.  They must be flexible in working hours, including weekends.

They will provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive golfing experience for members and guests.

Previous experience within a golf club or professional shop environment is advantageous, though not essential.

Kilkeel golf club has grown in popularity with a large increase of visitors, national and international, over the last number of years.  We played host to the Irish Boys & Girls Championship, Senior Gents & Ladies Championships and Ulster U18 Boys & Girls Championship over the last number of years so the ‘Hidden Gem’ of Northern Ireland is no longer hidden, it is known and respected by many players from around the country and beyond.
