Chhun On Golf Resort is seeking an outstanding PGA Professional to lead the development of our world-class Golf Academy as Director of PGA Academy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of golf instruction at one of Cambodia’s premier golf destinations while working within a luxury resort environment.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will provide the strategic vision and day-to-day leadership of the Academy, delivering exceptional coaching programmes, developing a high-performing instructional team, and positioning Chhun On Golf Resort as Cambodia’s leading destination for golf coaching and player development.

This is an exciting role for an ambitious PGA Professional who combines outstanding coaching credentials with strong commercial awareness, leadership skills and a genuine passion for growing the game.

About the Role

As Director of PGA Academy, you will be responsible for:

• Providing strategic leadership and management of the Golf Academy.
• Developing innovative coaching programmes for members, resort guests, juniors, beginners, elite players, corporate clients and visitors.
• Leading, mentoring and developing the Academy’s team of Teaching Professionals and Assistants.
• Driving academy participation, coaching revenue, club fitting and player development initiatives.
• Establishing strong partnerships with schools, corporate organisations and the wider golfing community.
• Working closely with the Golf Operations and Sales & Marketing teams to promote the Academy and enhance the resort’s reputation.
• Delivering exceptional coaching experiences using the latest technology and modern coaching methodologies.
• Supporting wider golf operations including tournaments, corporate events, practice facility management and member engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced PGA Professional who brings both leadership capability and coaching excellence.

You will have:

• Accredited PGA Membership (higher membership designation advantageous).
• A minimum of five years’ experience as a PGA Golf Professional or Teaching Professional.
• Experience within a high-quality golf club, academy or luxury golf resort.
• A proven track record of developing successful coaching programmes and growing academy participation.
• Strong experience in junior development and long-term player pathways.
• Experience coaching golfers of all abilities, including competitive and elite amateur players.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an international clientele.
• Experience using modern coaching technologies such as TrackMan, GCQuad, V1, Capto, SAM PuttLab or similar.
• Knowledge of golf operations, club fitting and academy business management.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing the game of golf.

Experience working in an international or luxury resort environment will be highly regarded.
