Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the position of Golf Club Assistant Professional.

As a professional golfer with 13 years of international tour experience, including five seasons competing on the DP World Tour and eight professional victories worldwide, I believe I can bring a unique combination of elite playing experience, coaching ability, and a strong understanding of the game to your club.

Throughout my career I have competed at the highest levels of professional golf across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Prior to turning professional, I represented Great Britain & Ireland in the Walker Cup and achieved a World Amateur Ranking of No.7, while also being ranked England Men’s No.1. While I am proud of my competitive achievements, I have increasingly developed a passion for helping others improve and enjoy their own golf.

Alongside my playing career, I have accumulated extensive coaching experience over the last several years. I have delivered over 150 individual lessons while continuing to compete professionally, led junior coaching sessions at North Foreland Golf Club for eight years, and conducted group coaching sessions and clinics for the last seven years. These experiences have allowed me to develop strong communication skills and an understanding of how to tailor coaching to players of different ages and abilities.

I feel that my background has given me valuable qualities that extend beyond playing ability. Professional golf has required discipline, organisation, adaptability, and the ability to build strong relationships with sponsors, players and individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. I enjoy working with people and believe I would be a positive ambassador for your club, both in supporting members and contributing to the overall professional team.
