Employment History:
December 2022 – Present: Group 1 Hailsham BMW and MINI
Bodyshop Advisor / Estimator.
Key responsibilities:
• Talk to BMW and MINI customers in other departments to upsell any bodywork/smart repairs where possible while their vehicle is in the dealership.
• Take incoming phone calls from customers who have had a car accident.
• Schedule repair estimates in the diary alongside drop offs and collections.
• Work together with technicians to ensure that all jobs are completed on time and customers updated if there are any delays.
• In the absence of the Bodyshop Manager, take over workshop control and allocate work out to the technicians, allowing the workshop to run smoothly and efficiently.
• Hold a morning meeting with all technicians to run through the jobs that need to be completed or started and get progress updates on existing jobs as well as any feedback if available.
• Carry out detailed examinations of crash damage and prepare quotes for customers or insurance companies in line with manufacturers standards.
• Keep customers updated during the repair process from authorisation to completion.
• Speak to insurance companies to get any insurance repairs authorised or updated.
• Work with parts suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Invoice both customer and insurance work in a timely manner to ensure monthly budgets are hit.

• Lead acoustic studio builds on site and ensure a high quality of work is maintained on everyone.
• Work closely with the Operations director to ensure that all projects are scheduled correctly and hit deadlines.
