·       Ensure the clubhouse, golf course and driving range are well maintained and functioning smoothly

·       Monitor and drive income from memberships, green fees, events, F&B and pro shop sales

Using experience from my trade as an electrician and golf professional I played a pivotal role in converting an empty pro shop into a two-bay indoor simulator available for hire, which I now run alongside two others.

·       Building the structure from scratch to fit a specific space with a high-quality finish

·       Fitting all electrics to ensure the simulators work including touch screen display and GC QUAD launch monitors

·       Creating and maintaining business relationships with manufacturers in the golf simulator space

·       Delivering exceptional customer service whilst hosting customers

·       Maintaining my own coaching diary

·       Provide a custom fitting service to all users – Recently becoming the first Avoda fitting location in the south of England

·       Offer club repairs and re-grips

·       Grow our social media presence to drive revenue

My role as assistant professional include:

·       Assisting with general shop operations including stock control, purchasing, and customer relations.

·       Operating a successful coaching diary with monthly lessons as well as junior group sessions weekly.

·       Provided outstanding customer support by maintaining helpful, attentive, proactive and efficient methods.

·       Organizing themed events to help introduce interest and potentially attract new members to the club.

·       General day to day membership admin for over 500 full members.

·       Working alongside various charities and companies to coordinate and manage operations to result in a successful golf day for both parties.

·       Monthly performance reports including shop sales and membership numbers.

·       Organizing member nights and other special events to promote relationship building and club growth.

·       Introduce club fitting sessions with full kit supplied by our chosen supplier of Srixon and TaylorMade, as the only fitter at Hamptworth the introduction of fitting and supplying clubs was my own project from the start.

My daily duties at universal golf include:

·       Managing the workshop diary in the most efficient way possible to meet both customer standards and supplier abilities. This Diary is essential for allowing stock to be matched with upcoming order requirements, ensuring all deadlines are met.

·       To ensure workshop is well stocked as well as tidy and clean to allow a safe working environment throughout the day.

·       Receiving and building all orders as per the fitting specifications noted.

·       Organizing all collections and deliveries of fitted clubs in and out of the workshop and maintaining an efficient system of storage and

·       Overseeing a separate re-grip and repair side of the business. This would include everything from loft and lies, club head repairs, grip application amongst other bits.

·       Completing yardage sessions out on the range with potential new customers.

·       Keeping track of stock in the workshop

My role as an estimator is to calculate all maintenance tasks for a range of clients across the country. Day-to-day activities include;

·       Communicating with clients to arrange job completion of maintenance tasks.

·       Completing and returning quotes in the given timescale.

·       Oraginsing engineers to minimize down time between jobs

·       Regularly supervise the on-call engineers for around the clock assistance

·       Liasing with other trade groups to organize projects from start to finish

·       Maintain relationships with clients and engineers

·       Communicating with service users and staff to cause as little disruption as possible

·       Time keeping to make sure all jobs are complete within the given timescale

·       Recording all jobs on to a computer database
