General Manager / PGA Pro

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager / PGA Professional to lead our vibrant golf and sports facility. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage facility staff, foster a welcoming environment for members and guests. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, ensure top-tier service, and promote a fun, engaging atmosphere that encourages participation across all age groups and skill levels. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine management expertise with professional golf coaching, creating memorable experiences for our community.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the facility to ensure smooth and efficient Operations.
Lead, motivate, and develop staff.
Organize and oversee leagues, events, and other activities as required.
Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful environment for all participants.
Coordinate special events, tournaments, youth camps, and community outreach initiatives to promote active lifestyles.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all facilities; maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
Foster a positive customer experience by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and promoting membership retention.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing a facility focused on hospitality and entertainment.
Retail, Sales and Marketing experience preferred.
Knowledge of the game of Golf.
Strong leadership abilities with previous management experience in a health club or sports facility environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups staff and participants.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
Passion for promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles through development of engaging programs.
PGA certification preferred
