We’re looking for far more than an outstanding coach. We want a commercially-minded PGA Professional with the vision, energy and ambition to help grow every aspect of our golf business.

From creating a coaching academy and inspiring golfers of all abilities to driving retail performance, increasing visitor golf, growing memberships and creating unforgettable golf experiences, you’ll be at the heart of one of Scotland’s most exciting golf destinations.

You’ll provide leadership across the entire golf operation, working closely with our Golf Operations Manager to ensure the Pro Shop continues to deliver an exceptional retail and customer experience and focusing on developing the wider golf business and unlocking new commercial opportunities.  Working alongside our Greenkeeping, Food and Beverage and Sales and Marketing teams, you’ll help make golf a key driver of the Estate’s success, creating experiences that keep guests coming back and members proud to call Murrayshall home.

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking beyond the first tee. Someone who gets excited about growing a business as much as improving a golfer’s swing. Someone who spots opportunities, builds relationships and isn’t afraid to bring fresh ideas that increase participation, revenue and the overall golfing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
Inspiring golfers through exceptional coaching and player development.
Growing the commercial success of golf across the Estate.
Working with the Golf Operations Manager to ensure the Pro Shop is performing at its very best.
Driving retail, custom fitting, coaching and driving range revenue.
Increasing memberships, visitor golf, society bookings and corporate golf days.
Working with Sales and Marketing to showcase everything Murrayshall Golf has to offer.
Building lasting relationships with members, guests and golf partners.
Bringing fresh ideas that grow participation, improve the customer experience and keep Murrayshall at the forefront of Scottish golf.
Working closely with colleagues across the Estate to deliver a seamless luxury resort experience from the first tee to the nineteenth hole.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have:

PGA Professional registration
Strong golf industry knowledge
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A commercial mindset with confidence in driving sales and memberships
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
A proactive, energetic and positive attitude
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to help shape the future of golf at Murrayshall.
