About Golf Ireland Academy

Golf Ireland Academy is the home of High Performance Golf in Ireland.  National coaching panels, individual lessons take place here for Irish squads competing home and abroad.  All Ireland’s top amateurs have been coached at the Academy over the years with some going on to win majors.

Golf Ireland Academy is situated on the grounds of Carton House near Maynooth, County Kildare.  Golf Ireland Academy also offers golf lessons, golf clinics, junior golf classes and a full custom fitting service. A team of 3 PGA professionals deliver the best golf lessons available with state of the art technology, including Trackman launch monitors and Trackman Range.

The driving range, all 22 acres of it – includes five USGA specification greens and four grass tee boxes, reserved for those having private golf lessons with one of our staff.

We also custom fit Titleist, PING, TaylorMade, Srixon, Cobra, Cleveland, Odyssey and Mizuno.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who is keen to develop themselves into a top-class PGA Professional. You will play a vital role supporting and working with the Head Professional and the Professional Team in helping to deliver a first-class customer experience. The ideal candidates will be Year 2 or 3 trainees with a desire to round off their CV with the best experience.  Also recently qualified professionals would benefit from starting their career at the academy.

Responsibilities include:

Handling day to day customer service and sales queries and to present the academy to the highest standard
Work with our professional team to deliver clinics for golfers of all abilities
Help deliver excellent coaching clinics and camps to juniors
Help customers with Trackman Range queries and identify opportunities for players to develop their game
Help contribute to our social media content and marketing opportunities to grow the Academy’s base
Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors
Structured training will be given covering all aspects of the role by our resident professionals.
