Jo Oliver Golf Academy is an independent, self-employed golf coaching business based at Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club in Hertfordshire. The academy operates under a facility rental agreement with Chesfield Downs, allowing access to its first-class coaching and practice facilities while remaining a separate and independently managed organisation.

Founded by PGA Professional Jo Oliver, the academy provides high-quality coaching for golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to elite players. Coaching programmes include individual lessons, junior academies, women’s coaching, performance coaching, school programmes, holiday camps, and county player development.

The academy works with a team of self-employed PGA Professionals who deliver coaching under the Jo Oliver Golf Academy brand. Each coach is responsible for their own professional registration, insurance, CPD, and safeguarding compliance, while adhering to the academy’s coaching standards, values, and operational procedures.

The academy is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where golfers can develop their skills, confidence, and lifelong enjoyment of the game. All coaching activities are delivered in accordance with PGA standards, England Golf safeguarding policies, and the academy’s own codes of conduct and operating procedures.

While operating from Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club, Jo Oliver Golf Academy remains an independent coaching business responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of all academy coaching programmes and events.
