About the Club

Founded in 1892, Harrogate Golf Club is a thriving and forward-thinking private members’ club with a proud heritage and a strong reputation for inclusivity, player development, and community engagement.

The Club has more than 600 playing members, including a vibrant junior section of over 80 juniors, and provides a welcoming environment for golfers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Recent investment in the Club includes a significantly upgraded practice facility featuring covered driving bays, supporting year-round coaching and player development. The Club has been awarded Junior Hub status and is widely recognised for its progressive initiatives, including successful programmes designed to encourage women and juniors into the game. Harrogate Golf Club was also among the first clubs to achieve Women in Golf Charter status.

The Club regularly hosts prestigious competitions and was proud to stage the England Golf English Senior Men’s County Finals in October 2025.
