About the Company
The Drift Golf Club is a well-established 18-hole golf facility set in the scenic Surrey countryside, just outside London. Originally part of the historic Lovelace Estate, the club was founded in 1975 and designed by renowned golfer Sir Henry Cotton alongside architect Robert Sandow.
The course is a par-72 woodland/parkland layout, stretching approximately 6,400 yards and carved through mature oak woodland. Known for its tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and water hazards, the course places a strong emphasis on accuracy and course management, offering an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Beyond the course, The Drift provides excellent practice facilities, including a driving range, short game areas, and putting greens, as well as a fully stocked professional shop and PGA coaching services.
The club has built a reputation as one of the friendliest and most welcoming venues in Surrey, catering to both members and visitors. It is particularly popular for golf days, societies, and corporate events, supported by a modern clubhouse offering dining, social spaces, and event facilities with views over the course.
Overall, The Drift Golf Club combines a peaceful natural setting, high-quality facilities, and a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, making it a standout destination for golf in the South East.
