About the Candidate

I am 18 years old with a handicap index of 4.6 and have been playing golf for over six years. I am currently employed as a Golf Service Operations Assistant at Macdonald Portal Hotel and Spa, where I work closely with golfers on a daily basis and gain valuable experience within the pro shop and golf operations environment.

Through my current role, I have developed strong customer service skills and have gained an excellent understanding of the day-to-day running of a golf facility. Working within the golf industry has confirmed my ambition to build a long-term career in the game, and I am planning to begin the PGA qualification pathway as the next step in my development.

I am a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn from experienced PGA Professionals. I would welcome the opportunity to assist with all aspects of the role, including retail operations, customer service, coaching support, competition administration, and general golf operations.

I hold a full UK driving licence and am available to work full-time. I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss any current or future trainee opportunities that may be available
