About the Company

Swanston Golf Academy is an Edinburgh-based golf coaching business dedicated to growing the game through high-quality, structured coaching for all ages and abilities.

Led by Mike McNally, PGA Professional and 2025 Scottish Golf Coach of the Year finalist, the Academy operates from Swanston Golf Club on the south side of the city — offering access to a par 3 course, 18-hole parkland course, and a fully equipped coaching studio.

Our programmes include term-time junior coaching pods, kids holiday camps, adult beginner pathways, girls golf hubs, and Play 9 – Score 36, a grassroots on-course experience programme with a community of 200+ beginner golfers. We are a licensed Operation 36 facility, delivering structured progress-based coaching through a nationally recognised framework.

The coaching team currently comprises four PGA-qualified coaches working across group, junior, and adult programmes. We are committed to a coaching-first culture — evidence-based, player-centred, and focused on real results on the course.
