PGA Trainee / Golf Shop Assistant

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional (Trainee) to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is either about to begin or is currently in the PGA Training Programme, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a busy, professional golf environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be involved in all aspects of the golf operation, including:

• Delivering exceptional customer service in the Pro Shop
• Assisting with retail sales, merchandising, and stock control
• Supporting coaching sessions, junior programmes, and group clinics
• Helping manage competitions, tee bookings, and daily golf operations
• Maintaining standards within the shop, on the range and the building surrounds
• Learning club fitting and equipment expertise
• Working closely with the Head Professional to develop your skills

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for golf and a desire to become a PGA Professional
• Currently enrolled in (or planning to start) the PGA Training Programme
• Friendly, professional, and confident with members and guests
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good playing ability with ambition to improve
• Flexible approach to working hours (weekends and holidays included)
• Ability to think for yourself and make decisions in the spot
