Founded in 1909 with input from Archie Simpson and later refined by renowned golf course architect James Braid, Murcar Links Golf Club is one of Scotland’s premier traditional links
golf courses.

Situated on the spectacular Aberdeenshire coastline, just ten minutes from Aberdeen citycentre and twenty minutes from Aberdeen International Airport, Murcar Links offers a championship links experience with panoramic views across the North Sea.

Recognised as one of Scotland’s finest golfing venues, Murcar Links was ranked 30th inScotland’s Top 100 Golf Courses (2025) and 4th within the Grampian region. The club has also been recognised by Golf World as one of the Best Links Courses in Great Britain andIreland and was Highly Commended at the 2026 Scottish Golf Tourism Awards.

As part of an exciting strategic development, Murcar Links is integrating the commercial operations of its professional shop into the wider club operation and is seeking an outstanding Golf Operations Lead to play a key role in this evolution.
