I’d consider myself to be a dynamic forward thinker, who is trustworthy and self-motivated. I’m happy to lead a team by example as proven with several years management experience across various industries gaining invaluable transferable skills but equally, I thrive when mentoring others to be the best version of themselves. I turned professional in July 2024 off a +2 WHI and started my PGA journey in the October of the same year.

Key Experience & Achievements
· Stepped into the leadership role to ensure continuity of high‑quality member and visitor services across Course & Practice Facilities, Bar & Catering, Pro Shop retail, and Clubhouse operations, reflecting the club’s requirement “to ensure the quality of member and visitor services” (from the job spec).
· Stabilised day‑to‑day administration, ensuring all office systems, membership processes, communication channels, and diary management continued to operate efficiently (“to ensure all office systems operate efficiently and are kept under review”).
· Took immediate responsibility for staff leadership, providing daily direction, performance oversight, and development support to directly employed teams and contractors (“management and personal development of directly‑employed staff”).
· Produced accurate monthly financial statements, controlled expenditure within approved budgets, and maintained proper accounting records to ensure real‑time visibility of the club’s financial position (“to ensure that proper accounting records… are maintained”).
· Ensured clubhouse presentation, maintenance, and statutory compliance remained at required standards, including H&S, licensing, insurance, and building security (“ensuring compliance with all current Statutory and Local Government Regulations”).

Golf Operations Manager & Assistant Professional I Sherborne Golf Club, DORSET, DT9 4RN
January 2022 – January 2026
As Golf Operations and Assistant Professional, my role is varied but predominantly involves.
· I was passed the Junior Academy baton in August of 2025 and have increased the roll by 380%. I have built relationships with both State and Public schools in the area and have a healthy divide of both. This has lead to an increase of members both with juniors and families who have found a shared interest.
· In early 2025, we launched a Custom Fit service for TaylorMade and Ping. We have four staff members covering the shop, and I would work an average of 25 hours in the shop. In that time I have been the highest biller, selling £36,000.
· Coaching
· Re-brand and shop work.
· Oversee day-to-day operational matters including line management of staff providing appropriate support.
· To support the board in the development of the club’s rolling Strategic Plan.
· Working with the management team, stakeholders and members to ensure affective communication across multi channels.
· Develop with the management team effective processes and governance arrangements which provide the club remains compliant and runs smoothly.
· Attend monthly committee meetings as an advisor, ensuring KPI’s both financially, strategically and developmentally are met.
· Overseeing the Pro shop with effect management of rotas, buying, merchandising, sales, promotions, repairs and finances.
· Plan and deliver all internal club and visitor open competitions, liaising between Sherborne and the Dorset County Golf Union.
· I was the highest Sherborne Pro, in the South West PGA Money List.
· I was heavily involved on a project to design, finance and install a simulator room which has been sited in unused storage cupboards behind the shop ensuring minimal waste and maximising potential revenues.
· I am now part of the team looking at building and designing a trackman range for our practice area, with building work due to start in early 2026.
· Individual and Group Coaching.
As part of my personal development, I undertook the GCMA principles of golf club management training course at the later part of 2022. Since turning professional I have played in numerous County PGA and Southwest PGA events with a highlight of a joint 5th finish in the Salisbury and South Wilts Pro-Am.
Warehouse Operative/multi skilled forklift driver I Virginia Hayward, Boundary House, Shaftesbury SP7 9BT
November 2019 – December 2021
I joined Virginia Hayward as a counterbalance forklift driver due to family commitments and, at the time locality to home. During my time at Virginia Hayward, I worked in a number of warehouse roles. These included;
· General FLT Driver Kitting in Unit 9,
· I was working at FS Gibbs as part of the Arla team as team leader.
· Supervisor for the OT hamper orders.
Whilst at Virginia Hayward I renewed my counterbalance, reach, bendi and ride-on pallet truck licences.
