I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated BA (Hons) Golf Management Degree student with relevant hands-on golf event management experience.

 

A good listener with excellent interpersonal skills, I can work within a team environment and am looking to start a fulfilling career within the Golf Industry.

 

PERSONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

 

Verbal Communication – Effective communicator and have further developed these skills through working in teams of varying size and communicative ability, this involved overcoming language barriers and learning to effectively communicate instructions and ideas in concise and clear ways.

 

Leadership – Confident and inclusive leadership which was developed through roles in and outside of sports such as captaincy of school’s international golf team for 2 years.

Subjects studied include; Event Management, Equipment Technology & Repairs, Applied Golf Science, Golf Retail Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Professional Golf Practice and Golf Club Operations.

 

FURTHER EDUCATION:

 

Aug. 2017- May 2019 – United World College, East Campus, Tampines, Singapore

Qualifications: International Baccalaureate. Higher Level subjects were; Biology, English Language and Literature and Chemistry, with scores of 5, 5 and 4, respectively. Standard Level subjects were; Math Studies, Spanish Abinitio and Environmental Systems and Societies, with scores of 7, 6 and 5, respectively.

Duties consisted of managing member relations, selling memberships averaging 5 new members a month and 10 during promotions as well as conducting their onboarding.

 

 

INTERESTS & HOBBIES:

 

I have played sports since I was 3; my first was golf; others include rugby, hockey, swimming, and tennis. My current handicap is 1.8, and I have been playing golf for close to 20 years. Having an international background, I also enjoy experiencing new cultures and travelling, as well as exploring the animals and environments I find.
