About the Candidate
George Tanner
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
As a recent BA (Hons) Professional Golf graduate from the University of
the Highlands and Islands and a current PGA Member working toward full
qualification, I am committed to developing a long-term career within the
golf industry. I have completed my Level 2 PGA Qualification and most
recently worked as a full-time coach at Winchester Golf Academy,
delivering high-quality coaching to golfers of all ages and abilities.
My passion for the industry extends beyond playing and coaching. I am
dedicated to providing exceptional service, understanding the
operational and hospitality elements of the golf sector, and continually
expanding my professional knowledge. I have completed three
internships at leading facilities—the Buckinghamshire Golf Club, the
London Club, and the Yellowstone Club in the United States. These
experiences have given me a strong foundation in premium club
operations, member engagement, event delivery, and day-to-day service
standards.
I am now seeking a role within the golf industry where I can apply my
education, coaching experience, and international operational
background to support a forward-thinking organisation in achieving its
goals.
