Graduate teacher from Sydney Australia, who has since developed a passion for the golfing industry after working my first season as a Golf Guest Services Ambassador, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course in Banff, Canada. Worked with an incredible team at a amazing location in the Canadian Rockies, exposing myself to the daily operations and intricacies of operating a luxury golf resort. I would love to continue to develop my already strong guest facing skillset and experience, at other luxurious destinations around the world.
First Season Achievements:
– Nominated for Employee of the Month (July) after our team at the course scored the highest ever 59 Club (Golfing excellence audit) score received.
– Singled out in the audit as the best introductory experience to a golf course the auditor has ever received.
– Met with a handshake by the 59 Club Director of Operations after making “one hell of an impression” upon visiting our course after setting the highest guest experience audit ever received.
– Played a key role in our team reaching the number 1 ranking out of 503 course worldwide for Guest experience by the 59 Club.
– Single out by one of the Fairmont Banff Springs Regional Directors as the only staff member mentioned out of over 80 staff members as a ‘clear stand out’

– In accordance with the ‘59 clubs’ auditing best practice policies. Responsible for
checking payment accuracies, resolving any discrepancies, cart safety and
tracking, providing accurate and current course information to support guest
experience during round, final stop for clarification and support.
– First line of support for guest on course/ responding to any issues, wildlife
encounters, weather events.
– Confidence when assisting/dealing with disgruntled guests. Removing guest from
course or carts when sneaking on without pay, verifying receipts or memberships.
– Resolving guests concerns or issues, turning a negative experience into a positive
long-standing impression.
– Adaptability in assisting with Cart tours, private events, PGA tournaments,
shotguns tournaments, weddings etc. commanding large group numbers with
confidence in public speaking.
