Application for position of Head Professional

I would like to apply for the position of Head Professional at Shaw Hill Golf Club and enclose my CV in support.

I grew up In Blackley North Manchester and have played many times at Shaw Hill in matches and casual golf. It is a course that I am particularly fond of.

I am currently the Head Professional at Cheadle Golf Club, Cheshire. This is a 9-hole course and I also manage an 18-hole Pitch and Putt for the Club. Prior to becoming the Head Professional, I was the Assistant Professional at Cheadle before which I worked at Heaton Park Golf Club for 9 years.

At Cheadle Golf Club, I have been instrumental in increasing the net membership of the Club, increasing the profits at the Pitch and Putt to their highest ever level and implementing new technology which has resulted in an increase in visitor numbers. I am a personable individual who is committed to improving the golfing experience of both members and visitors to the Club. I am also passionate about teaching and developing the skills of all ages and abilities. I play a key role in the day to day running and marketing of Cheadle Golf Club as well as running a successful Pro Shop. I am confident that my previous roles working at a driving range, busy public golf course and now a private members club while running a busy pitch and putt have all put me in a good position for the roll at Shaw Hill Golf Club.
